This position is responsible for the preparation of CAD work involving detailed files, survey interpretation, and a variety of reference data.
Job Responsibilities
- Import and process field data
- Prepare Legal and Topographic Surveys
- Provide calculations to field staff
- Interact with field staff to ensure proper configuration of data/sketches and conformity with local By-Laws, Registry Office information and client specifications
- Liaise with project supervisors regarding plan details
- Maintain accurate records, timesheets and other files pertaining to the job
Qualifications
- Education in Survey, Civil or CAD program, or 2+ years of Land Surveying or CAD experience is preferred
- Detail oriented, with the ability to read and understand Architectural and Structural design drawings
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to learn new field and office surveying techniques
- Experience with Microstation is an asset
